Racist accusing others of Racism

What is a racist? A person that accuses a black person of being a Nazi, plain and simple. Adolf Hitler was the biggest champion of racism in the twentieth century. He exterminated six million Jews because he believed they were an inferior race. He also believed that Asians and Negroes were “inferior” to the White race (source) The republic party are going out of thier way to interrupt townhall meeting and call Obama a Nazi with the hopes that opened minded whites will narrow their view of the world and see things their way. This action is not from a group of outsiders but from the  republican party.  Last year  Karl Rove made the statement “ Obama reminds him of “the guy at the country club with the beautiful date, holding a martini and a cigarette that stands against the wall and makes snide comments about everyone who passes by.” Honestly how many blacks can afford or are even allowed in a country club? only a few, why? because people like Karl Rove don’t want them in their country club

But instead of having a debate about health care we see pundits paid by the health care agency stirring up crowds who have more of an issue with Obama’s race than health care policy’s they probably need

who is this crowd? the same racist that have always occupied this country

Then, protesting intergration

Then, protesting intergration

Now Protesting Healthcare

Now Protesting Healthcare

Whats interesting is that they refuse to see that the USA is changing, with or without them, also interesting they refuse to acknowledge that their actions are the most un american the country they are so quickly to defend
Racist calling historical victims of racism, racist how sad and how un American

Recognizing Diversity

With all the talk about Susan Boyle losing Britain Got talent that no love has been given to the BGT winners Diversity

The 11-member troupe was led by lead dancer and choreographer British-NigerianAshely Banjo, his brotherJordan Banjo is also a member while Nigerian-Born Ike Ezekwugo is the final Nigerian link in the troupe.  While Ike was born in Nigeria and migrated to the UK, Ashley and Jordan are children of Nigerian, Funso Banjo, a former boxer and now a successful businessman and his British wife, Danielle – a former dancer with the Royal Ballet. The troupe performed an energetic and captivating routine that thrilled the crowd and wowed viewers. The British press is already enamored with the young dancers as they are being championed as positive role models for Black Youth in the UK. According to Ashley, ‘My education matters to me…As far back as I can remember, my parents drummed into me the importance of doing well at school. I’m not going to be spinning on my head when I’m 50, but as a qualified scientist I can always earn a living’. Ashley is currently studying Natural Science at Queen Mary University, Jordan is studying for his GCSEs and is already predicted top results while Ike will graduate with his Human Resource qualification soon. click here for more

The judges left Britain gobsmacked at their decision to select a goup of hip hop dancing brown skinned youth over a classically trained singer, but by doing so, they have made BGT truly an inclusive show, thats not afraid to look at its future.

The praise Cowell gave to Flawless (another exceptional dance group who many feel is better than diversity) were not empty

So the future is wide open for dance groups in Britain

but as for one of Diversity’s youngest dancers the future means back to school

Michael Jackson in Brazil Somebody Cared About Us

Shot in the Favelas of Brazil, this little seen video showcases the talent and the beauty of a segment in Brazil that’s rarely seen in a positive light. The media in Brazil take great care in only highlighting an image of blonde blue eye-ness and the dark skinned poor living outside the city is something that the government wish would just go away

I believe the video was shot by Spike Lee and it is a thing of great beauty, clearly handled with great care.

A Sistah Literally on Top of the World

Photo: Courtesy Modernage Photo Services, NYC. © 2007 Barbara H. Hillary, all rights reserved.

Barbara Hillary (born June 12, 1931) was the first known African-American woman to reach the North Pole, which she did at the age of 75 in 2007.

After retiring as a nurse, Hillary became fascinated with arctic travel. She found new challenges learning snowmobiling and dog sledding in the United States and Canada. During this time she became aware that no African-American woman had reached the North Pole. On April 23, 2007, after overcoming many obstacles Hillary reached the North Pole.

Barbara is a graduate of the New School University and earned Bachelor of Arts and a Masters of Professional Studies Degrees. As a Gerontology major, Hillary utilized her education to tailor staff development in nursing homes and related facilities to meet the current expectations of the aging population. This approach included a strong emphasis concerning sensitizing the staff to their own aging process, as deliverers of human services to the elderly. source wiki click for more info

Straight Out of Sudan

WITH his blue jeans, dreadlocks and lilting accent, it is difficult to imagine Emmanuel Jal as a bald, battle-hardened 12-year-old wielding an AK-47.But it has taken mental and emotional fortitude for the 29-year-old to front up at the Sydney Writers Festival this week and again dredge up the memories of his horrific childhood. Jal was only a small boy when war broke out in Sudan in the mid-1980s between the Islamic regime in the north and the mainly Christian south. click to read more

While his policeman father joined the guerilla Sudan People’s Liberation Army, Jal fled his home in southern Sudan as a seven-year-old with his siblings and mother, who was later murdered.

Rapper Emmanuel Jal was one of the “Lost Boys” — youths caught up in violence in Sudan. He later escaped to Kenya. Now he’s making music about peace.

Emmanuel Jal plays at Nelson Mandela’s 90th Birthday party concert and is described by Peter Gabriel

as an artist with ‘the potential of a young Bob Marley’

A lot of people requested that I talk about this topic, so I decided to take some time out of my college life and give my thoughts on it. I also talk about the new Dragonball movie that comes out today. As usual, don’t take the video too seriously ;)
If you agree with the vid, be sure to share it and favorite it, thanks! Kevin
