Amazing Grace

In what will be remembered as one of his greatest speeches President Obama delivered the eulogy for Charleston’s Senator and Pastor Clementa Pinckney, shot to death in a racist gun rampage massacre. Of the late reverend, Obama says, “When he entered a room, the future arrived.”

But the president didnt stop there, using the platform to speak both profoundly and meaningfully about racism toward Black Americans stating “Removing the flag from this state’s capital would not be an act of political correctness. It would not an insult to the valor of Confederate soldiers. It would simply be acknowledgement that the cause for which they fought, the cause of slavery, was wrong.”

There are many who believe Obama is out of touch with his people, this presentation demonstrates that is far from the truth
