How Animators Created the Spider-verse

2018 is a milestone for Black Superheroes, on February 16, 2018 Black Panther was released and the rest is history. But on December 1, 2018 Miles Morales into the Spider-verse was also released, and there was nothing like it every witnessed on screen. It won the Oscar for best animation. Below the animators talk about how they made a movie that was “amazing.”

Danny Dimian, Visual Effects Supervisor, and Josh Beveridge, Head of Character Animation, for “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” share exclusive breakdowns and talk about their inspiration and the techniques they used to create a new visual language for their Academy Award-winning film. “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” is available now on digital and Blu-Ray.
